Hello Cruisers,
Lets take our BCYC pirate armada over to Desoto Point and hang with the early Spanish conquistador’s spirits as we visit a historical park which has a fort we can conquer. Don Rogers will be leading up the charge for me while I'm out of country.
The anchorage is next to the Desoto National Memorial Park which is FREE to explore. Bring a dinghy with you so you can check out the park.
We will probably gather at someone's boat for happy hour to start around 4-5pm. You could also choose to go to the beach - but no fires and please clean up after yourselves!

The park can be used after dark which it does not state but the ranger told us this is allowed. Absolutely no fires!
If you want to come but don’t have a boat just sign up as a “stowaway” on the sign up sheet at the club and give Don a call. We will try and hook you up with a captain that is going.
