NAVIGATION INFO

We will be heading into Tampa Bay on this cruise to anchor out next to Pine Key (locally known as “Beer
Can” Island) just North of Apollo Beach. You can stay off the main shipping channel to the right side and
approach Island from the East (N 27°48.298 W 82°26.666)
Go first through Structure E and head through fixed bridge at I-275 going east on ICW into Tampa Bay. Watch
out for freighter traffic and make your way up to Pine Key. Note charts do not state any official name for this
spit of land. Bring firewood and snacks to pass.
