Adult Sail School Schedule

Spring I - March 8 - March 22 2017

Three classroom sessions:
- Three Wednesday nights: March 8th, 15th and 22nd
- 7:00pm - 9:00pm
  (March 8th only will start at 6:30 to get administrative things out of the way)
Four On-the-Water sessions:
- Two Saturdays: March 11th & 12th
- - Mornings from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
  - Afternoons from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
- Two Sundays: March 18th & 19th
- - Mornings from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
  - Afternoons from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
A traditional, yet optional, sunset “sail out” hosted by BCYC members aboard their own sailing vessels on Wednesday, March 29th

The objectives of BCYC's Basic Sail School are to produce graduates who can rig the sails of a small boat; assess the wind; sail away from the dock; perform the basic maneuvers of tacking, jibing, and trimming sails; and sail safely back to the dock. We also provide information about federal and state safety requirements, emergency procedures, and “local knowledge” of nearby waters.

Class is limited to 20 Adults and will fill up quickly, so register early!

Your registration fee may be paid by credit card when you complete the ONLINEregistration or you may MAIL your registration form with a $250 check per person made payable to:
