Compass Island Cruise

We will be heading up to Compass Island, which is just south of Clearwater Pass (CP) on the ICW. You can go out at Pass-A-Grille and enter at CP or you can follow the ICW north till you get near Clearwater Harbor. 

The spoil we call Compass Island is directly due West of Flashing GREEN 4S Marker #7 by a little more than a stones throw away. The north end and east end of the island is pretty shallow so go wide on its east side and approach it from the south. A waypoint just south of the island is N 27°56.491 W 82°49.430.

Be careful in the ICW near G7 and R8 (shallow around this area), do not cut towards the island until you get almost halfway to G5 and R6.
