10:30am We will sail by the Gulfport Caino pier.
Our beloved Rev. Andy Bell has agreed to do the Blessing of The Fleet. We will sail by the pier by the Gulfport Casino and get a blessing, and sail around the bay taking pictures of each other. Sail school is encouraged to sail by to get a Blessing for our fleet of Catalinas. The pot luck lunch is at 12:00. Janet T a who extraordinaire has upgraded our pot luck lunch to Sloppy Joes. So just bring a side dish. We are looking forward to having many boats.

The blessing of the Fleet is an annual event that takes place at the city of Gulfport Downtown Pier. All are invited to gather on the pier to stand with BCYC,s Chaplain, who will bless each vessel as it passes the Pier. After the blessing, on Boca Ciega Bay, boat crews take photos of passing boats and later that night share their photo with other participants.
